A super Renato Zevi "Ellipse" rocking chair & rocking ottoman styled two piece seating arrangement. The original was designed in the 1970s. The chair & ottoman both feature a distinctive chromed metal frame & black leather upholstery. The defining feature of this set is the massive, sweeping flat-bar chrome frames. The side profiles form distinct, smooth ellipses that allow the user to glide smoothly.  The thick leather cushions are explicitly designed with deep tufted partitions to distribute weight evenly & prevent leather sagging over time. This set is a prime example of the 1970s Space Age design movement. Super comfortable & stylish & in great condition.
