A most desirable midcentury sideboard by Younger. The Fonseca sideboard designed by John Herbert in the early 1960s, is a highly regarded example of British mid-century modern design. The sideboard is crafted from a combination of solid afromosia & teak & features a distinctive overhanging top & tapering legs. It contains a central bank of three drawers flanked by two large cupboard spaces, one with an internal shelf characterised by inverted pull handles on the drawers & solid button-style handles on the cupboard doors. The top drawer is lined with grey Abraham Moon fabric with integrated cutlery dividers.
