A fabulous example of a lounge chair & ottoman in the Iconic Eames style featuring brown leather, a rosewood shell & a black five-star aluminium base. The frame is built using three curved, molded plywood shells layered with rosewood veneer. The leather cushions are supported by a unique rubber & metal shock mount system, allowing the individual shells to gently flex with body movement & the seat rests at a permanent 15-degree angle. This ergonomic design ensures support when reading or conversing. The chair & ottoman both sit on a four & five star swivel base, & are in very good vintage condition.
