A stunning midcentury Cortina sideboard by Nils Jonsson for the Swedish manufacturer Hugo Troeds. Produced in the 1960s, this sideboard is highly valued for its clean Scandinavian design, functionality & craftsmanship. The sideboard features a long, low profile with clean lines & sculpted, recessed handles carved directly into the wood; a signature of Jonsson's designs. The design includes a central bank of four drawers, the top one lined with blue felt & a removable cutlery tray, flanked by two large cabinets with sliding doors & adjustable shelves. A fabulous piece of high end 60s furniture & in great condition.
